Volunteer Recognition Reception

Last night I attended the American Diabetes Association 2013 Volunteer Recognition Reception. This was my first public speaking engagement for the American Diabetes Association. Our 2013 Local Ambassador, Cooper Reif, was there to be recognized for his successful year. Congratulations, Cooper! After the reception, I had the opportunity to tour the research labs of the University of Chicago. I am very excited about where diabetes research is heading. Thank you to all of the supporters of the American Diabetes Association and congratulations to all of those who were recognized last night.
